Our Story

The Parc Hotel Flora was born in 1900 as the Seevilla – an elegant seasonal residence welcoming well-to-do Central European guests who came to enjoy heliotherapy, fresh air, wholesome food, and the treatments of Dr. Von Hartungen, on the very shores of the lake that Thomas Mann described so vividly:
“…in the mornings, I always row for several hours on the lake and, especially at the beginning, I am deeply fascinated There is something extraordinarily moving when, after a long period of restlessness, you once again slip into this sunlit calm, softly whispering and lapping, enclosed by stern mountains…”
For more than a century, history has flowed along the shores of Lake Garda, following in the footsteps of Mann and Kafka – among the most illustrious guests of this unique landscape. Time has transformed appearances, but not the essence: the elegance, the care, and the passion for hospitality remain, encapsulated in a smile that welcomes you into a world of discretion and serene tranquillity.
